Hm. It's my understand when folks attack Mexican people in the US it's NOT because of their national origin even if they're yelling Dobbsian slurs at them while they do it. It's also my understanding that hateful rhetoric does not lead to violence nor are those that use it responsible for people who share their hate commit acts of violence against a member of the group that they all hate.

If that's true then it's unclear how Dobbs can claim someone shot at his house because of his hate speech. Probably just a coincidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lou and his wife are the only ones to hear the shot and no bullet is found.

I am sure Lou lives in a very affluent white neighborhood and the odds in my mind of someone taking a pop shot at him are extremely low. The odds of a Mexican doing it are practically zero and liberals just aren't known for drive-by's of rich old white guys.

And like JayR mentions, it's just not possible for commentators to insight violence, at least according to Beck and O'Reilly.

Maybe the person shooting just didn't like people with jowls.

Hold it Lou. If no one was arrested or questioned, no one apparently saw or described the source of the shots, how do you know it was fired off "because of my stance on immigration", and not just your neighbors reloading while drunk?
