On Fox News a few minutes ago, Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) tried to downplay speculation that he's preparing for a presidential run in 2012 -- while also managing to imply that poor Obama supporters were the main recipients of the Cash for Clunkers program. Oh, and comparing the President's health care reform plan to manure.
The Minnesota Governor called Cash for Clunkers "misguided" and "ludicrous" before saying, "There's a joke out now that says the main value of the Cash for Clunkers program may be that we'll get a lot of cars with Obama stickers off the road." The implication of that "joke" seems to be that it's poor Obama supporters who own old clunkers that were the beneficiaries of this government program.
And the President's plan for health care reform?
It's like a manure spreader in a wind storm. It's just throwing out of more bad ideas, it's hard to even keep track of them in this bill.
Pawlenty also insisted that he's not running for President in 2012. His new committee is "not geared toward a presidential run," he said.
"I don't know what I'm going to be doing a few years from now," he said, adding later that "it could be really likely that I'm in the private sector in 2012."

Sharpen up on your dogo-whistling skills, Tim. As it is, you're just being obvious. Do you wanna get the nomination, or do you wanna spend the rest of your political life appearing on Fox with a stupid grin on your face, trying to desperately distill your rhetoric into 30-second, bite-sized chunks. Think about it, and get back to me when you actually know what you're doing.

I love that phrase: negative charisma.
It really captures him.
Tim needs to get out on the actual road some time. He might be stunned by the number of Priuses and Honda Civics sporting Obama stickers. Some days, it seems like half the parking lot at the school that I work at is filled with Obama cars.

Hmm.. Where I live it's the McCain stickers next to the confederate flag bumper stickers on the 1984 Ford pickup trucks... I think that qualifies as a clunker.

Pawlenty is terrible. And the right wing is hoping he is their savior. How long before an affair or gay lover comes to light? 6 months?

Pawlenty. The people of Minnesota would love to trade in this clunker of a governor. He has quit running his office and is running around the country with a wet finger in the air. "No I am not running for Prez, it just looks like it." We have a lot of manure left that he has flung around Minnesota. We also got rid of several vehicles in Minnesota by having our bridge fall into the river. His transportation head was also the Lt. Gov. and she didn't do either job well.

When Pawlenty was speaking about manure we can be assured he was speaking from that which is spread from the Republican platform and of which he has more than his fill.

Because only poor people with old cars voted for Obama?
I guess that amounted to a mere 52% of us. And we enjoy being mocked by Republicans for being poor.
Keep hammering it home, Party Of The Rich.

Here's Pawlenty's Presidential slogans:
Having affordable health Insurance is a shitty idea and Elitists drive clunkers!
That about sums up how backwards the GOP is.....a few years ago it was all about democrats being out of the mainstream,....now they're driving recklessly down a dead end street.
