Former Bush adviser and current Fox News contributor Karl Rove weighed in again last night on the White House's war with Fox News, calling President Obama's press secretary a "bully."
This is a bully. Robert Gibbs is a bully standing behind the podium at the White House trying to discipline the White House press corps into being submissive.
And much like former Bush Press Secretary Dana Perino did yesterday, Rove suggested that the Bush team was held to a different standard than the Obama administration.
"Imagine what would have happened if President Bush would have said, 'You know what, I'm gonna call NBC not a news organization because MSNBC has some ugly left-wing opinion programming.' People would go nuts."
And:
What would happen if someone said, 'Y'know what, the people who are working for The New York Times are not journalists because on the opinion page of The New York Times there are very liberal journalists and very liberal editorials.' People would be up in arms.
Here's the video.

Someone needs to explain to Karl that Gibbs stands on a podium, and behind a lectern.

Actually, if Bush had said that MSNBC is not a news organization and has ugly opinion programming, I would have agreed in large part. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Olbermann and Maddow, but the rest of MSNBC still has the same problem as every other cable news outlet: too much time to fill and not enough actual journalists to figure out the facts.
Also, my guess is the world at large would have just shrugged and said, "Oh that Bush. There he goes again."

Cute to see Turd Blossom jumping up and down and whining.
