Former Arkansas GOP Gov. Mike Huckabee said on Fox News Sunday today that he's still not sure whether he'll run for president in 2012 -- and that much depends on whether the Republican base will unite behind him.

"I would have to see that the Republicans would be willing to unite behind me," Huckabee said. "The last time out my biggest challenge was with the establishment Republicans, who just never showed their support."

I am nowhere near ready to say that that's what I want to do three years from now.

"It's hard to say," Huckabee continued. "A lot of it depends on how the elections turn out next year and whether Roger Ailes continues to like my show on the weekends."

Before fielding the 2012 question, Huckabee did give a preview of what a campaign might look like, ripping into the Obama administrations $787 billion stimulus package and erroneous claims of jobs it created.

"The only jobs we're creating are government jobs," Huckabee said. "This nonsense about we're creating and saving jobs -- they're nonexistent."

This has been the biggest scam and waste of taxpayer money.

Here's the video.

The Huckster has no chance. The "establishment" Republicans still won't support him, and the "ordinary" Republicans -- the Joe the Plumbers of the world -- will break for Sarah Palin.

Sorry, Mike, but Sarah drank your milkshake. Hope your show does well.

Love that Republican logic. Government jobs aren't jobs.

Hucklebee scares lefties like Kos because they think he is "likable" to Repubs, and could thus win. Pause for thought: we thought McCain was likable too. Perhaps what we think is "likable" is not what Repubs think. Sheesh! Did we think W. or Sarah would be so popular to them???

I say "Run Goober Run". Shoot, give it all you got you ignorant Bible Thumpin Freak Show. Give your inbred, crooked teeth,hydro- cephalic, critter-loving base a choice other than The Wasillabilly Grifter. Two freaks are better than one. It'll give small brains some exercise. Who wants fat billy brains? Ok that ain't gonna happen but it could. No it couldn't. Yes it could. Ouch that hurts. I need somethin fryed quick. And a cigarette.

Deja vu all over again.

I'm afraid the Huckster will have a case of Maurice Clemmons and will gracefully decide not to run due to personal commitments.

Huckabee granted clemmancy to Maurice Clemmons. That sinks his chances for ever winning anything ever again. He needs to find a gig on CNN or some other cable network. After this weekend there is no hope for that man from Hope.
