No, we're not just re-posting the same Sarah Palin interview highlight reel again and again. She's just been on a lot of shows. She's burned through Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly (Part 1, Part 2). But she's not done yet. Last night it was Greta Van Susteren.

And yes, that Part 1 means Part 2 is airing tonight. Stay tuned... for another highlight reel tomorrow.

She even lies about writing the book. LOL

It's really notable. She goes way out of her way to talk about how taxing it supposedly was for her to be credited with the ghost-written tome. Doth protest too much, the unbearable idiot.

I have no doubt that she was forced to spend interminable minutes actually talking to the ghost writer so that they could somehow credibly claim she was involved in "writing" the book. She may have had to actually answer questions! Can you imagine the horror??

Such intensive labor must be very difficult for someone who normally quits her job and walks off when it gets demanding?

Customer to Ghostwriter: "What do I say about how I wrote the book? I mean, I don't know how to write a book!"

Ghostwriter reciting from the FAQ: "That's the easy part. Just say it was *hard* (*harder than you thought!*, then seque to some specific part of the book you'd like to highlight to improve your sales, and move to other subjects!"

Cspan spent 45 minutes covering a Palin book signing in Ohio. Interviewing people in line.

Some observations. First no one had read the book. They had purchased it two nights before and also had to wait for 4 hours in line holding it. But NO ONE HAD READ IT!

But also very instructive, without President Obama there would be no Palin. None of the women (by far it was majority ugly women, I don't know why) seemed interested in the book. They loved Palin because she was "a real American, a Christan, against the right to choose, and she represented real middle America values. Also Obama is a abomination "

Just my observations.

I did not really understand why they liked Palin, unless the really hated having a black president.

Your last point is the key, of course.

"Real America" means white people to them. They think we don't know, also. So they're bigots *and* really stupid.

I used to think Josh was too harsh when describing Palin as a grifter but if you look at what she has done in the last 6 months its been all about the money. She must be playing the long con. Her supporters are the patsies.

hey now, i just watched "the sting" a couple weeks ago, and from what I gather she will need to actually become president in order to pull off the long con that her current activities imply. she may even need to figure out a way to fake her own assassination as president once she gets there to be really convincing.

Not to say that Palin really is a grifter, but there is a rumor that Michael Hilton of “American Police Force” fame (Hardin, Montana prison) has applied to be Palin's apprentice for the educational experience. It was something about him wanting to learn to move to the big leagues.

Re India and Pakistan: "The last thing we need is conflict between these two countries." Well, luckily Palin's followers are equally as ignorant as she about the world. Sadly, these same people take that as a badge of honor. Ignorance is power!!!

Almost as perceptive as Michael Steele pleading for a "Rodney King" moment on healthcare.

Seriously - her not knowing that there is, has been and will be a conflict between India and Pakistan pretty much forever over issues like religion, control of Kashmir, nukes, etc. hurts my brain. Does she think we aren't dealing with this garbage every single day? That we don't have to balance every gesture of solidarity with Pakistan in the war on terror with some similar gesture of friendship to India (see giving them the first state dinner of the Obama administration)? But I'm sure that now that little Miss Stupid has spoken Hillary Clinton will get right on making sure there isn't a conflict.

Greta is much more attractive than the dowdy Palin. Her politics suck, but I could overlook that for a few hours if she'd keep her mouth . . . shut up.

I think I've reached my saturation point with the words "going rogue." I'd be OK to never see or hear those two words strung together again. Who can come up with the best new descriptor for S. Palin? Brownie points if it makes us all laugh so hard we blow (beverage of choice) out of our collective noses.

Does anybody even know what rogue means?
Merriam Webster online dictionary: “Rogue”

1) Function: noun
1 : vagrant, tramp
2 : a dishonest or worthless person : scoundrel
3 : a mischievous person : scamp
4 : a horse inclined to shirk or misbehave
5 : an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation
2) Function: intransitive verb
to weed out inferior, diseased, or nontypical individuals from a crop plant or a field
3) Function: adjective
1 : resembling or suggesting a rogue elephant especially in being isolated, aberrant, dangerous, or uncontrollable
2 : corrupt, dishonest
3 : of or being a nation whose leaders defy international law or norms of international behavior

Since the only person I can think of who understands irony less than Palin would be GWB. She seems to be brandishing herself as rogue as if it is a badge of honor. It is funnier than the teabagger's moniker.

BTW, any bets on how long it takes her to reverse course once this book starts to tank when people actually read it, and start saying all the errors are Lynn Vincent's fault, and Sarah never actually read the "final" version because she was "forced" to rush the book out?

Yes Greta, the black folks who lose jobs have 'no skills'. But the white folks are victims that bad black president.

I swear, if I hear one more Republican talk about cutting taxes again--particularly those dreaded, economy-destroying "capital gains taxes"--I'm going postal on some right-wing ass.

Do a compare and contrast between this interview with Palin, and what her supporters say at a book signing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKKKgua7wQk&feature=player_embedded. No wonder they love her; she's just as incoherent and vacuous as they are!

Honest to God, the Indian Pakistan thing does it. What fcking nerve. God forbids America cooperates with anyone one anything (Glenn Beck: I'm just askin questions but don't you think Obama's decision not to boycott the Olympic Games threatens our sovereignty???) but conservatives are the first to volunteer groups have basically been at war constantly over the past century to basically "get over it" and cooperate. Brillant foreign policy recommendation Mrs. Palin. While we are at it why don't we see if we can get China and Tawain to free those Tibetains everyone is talking about...Good Grief!!

much more attractive than the dowdy Palin,

I'm an (ex)runner. We appreciate things in bodies that perhaps the general public doesn't. Palin --who has had 5 kids-- is far from dowdy.

As far as the grifter image goes and think Levi speaks to it in directly though not particularly harsh terms: she wants money and fame. In so far as the nomination would futher those aspirations she wants that too (if God calls her!)

What's fascinating is virtually none of her "supporters" waiting to get their unread books signed could articulate a single intelligent reason as to why they support.

When one woman was asked what "policies" of Palin's she supports, she hadn't a clue and actually said, "policies?" She then turned to some of fellow Palin groupies and almost begged, "Help me out here guys."

It was pathetic

She is the poster child for a "child left behind". A moron!!
