SNL has a pretty devastating fake film trailer merging the world-destroying special effects of the new disaster movie 2012 with a Palin '12 election win.
Here's the video.
And here's Keith Olbermann's take on the "Sarapocalypse."

Amazing how this, and other left wing sites, seem to have completely ignored this video:

You mention SNL and still don't mention this video. What partisan hackery.

What an outrage.
How dare TPM even mention the letters SNL without a link to this!

I'm red-faced with anger over this impudent omission!!!!

No, those are perfect demostrations of the current state of SNL - the only funny things they can come up with is pretty much unedited Sarah Palin (even the "Sarahpocalypse" isn't that good), and the last time is was somewhat funny was 18 years ago (the second clip - note the cast).

We'll leave it to RedState to use video's such as that one from SNL. Besides, it is rather ponderous compared to "Sarapocalypse". Oh and.... Who ran up most of the debt owed to China? Thats right, it was done during the Buch/Cheney years.

It's "Amazing!"? That two groups of people with very different points of view don't link to the same humorous video? You have a low threshold for amazement.

OMG! OMG! OMG! masanf is absolutely right. TPM must show every single political video ever made whenever it wants to inform us of a new one. That's only fair.
In addition, TPM must be sure that they show an equal number of rightwing videos for every leftwing one they show. That's balanced.
Hey!! Fair and balanced!! Just like that cable news network that always tells us both sides of every issue, in depth, every time.
Right?
..snark..

Thanks for the funny video that reminds one and all the fiscal mess Republicans, YES Republicans, put this country in, time and again. Democrats reduce deficits. Republicans explode them. (And I choose the word explode purposely...out of control defense speeding, anyone?)

" "There's an old Chinese saying," Yang Jiemian, president of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, told me. "If you borrow a hundred dollars, you are borrower; if you borrow a million dollars, you are not borrower." There's an English version of this, which is a bit zippier--"When you owe $100,000, the bank owns you. When you owe $100 million, you own the bank"--and it aptly describes the US relationship with China, which holds approximately 70 percent of its 2.3 trillion foreign reserves in dollars."

I really do think TPM has been recognized by the opposition as having some serious influence, no matter how badly they trash "us".
Why would they assign someone to hang on every post and respond first with the worst, if they did not consider it important?
