Isn't Palin outselling him? That should make us feel better. Seriously, it doesn't take that many books to get to the top of the bestseller lists. Partisans are good at putting their favorites at the top when their books come out. Anyway, when feeling disturbed that Beck gets to the top, remember that Colbert got there too.
That really was one of the most amazing performances: Glenn Beck pulls out an historical example that completely refutes his point, trots it out with great relish, and then reiterates his preconceived notion just to make it more obvious.
My question is, did Beck think, 'whoops? did I just pants myself on National TV? Boy, good thing nobody here will point that out!" or did he really think he'd made his point?
How about the, "I'm so in awe of you, Glenn" looks from the Fox News Bimbette? I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that she may actually be stupider than Glenn himself...
The books only sell because the publisher buys a few hundred thousand right off the bat to get it on the NYT list. It's an old ruse in use for many years now. It is also used in the music Industry. Once people see it in the NYT list, they figure there must be something worthwhile since so many are being sold, so the go out and buy them. It's a sham. Also most of those people don't read anyway, so the books just go home and sit.

When in history has a general ever wanted fewer troops? More troops is the one part of the plan that doesn't make sense to me.

I don't understand where he was trying to go. He started talking about firing Generals. Is that what he wants Obama to do? I'm so confused.
