Gingrich Spox: Dems Are 'Defaulting To Their Totalitarian Impulses'

On Fox News today, a Newt Gingrich spokesman discussed the incident yesterday where Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) cut off Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) during his floor speech. The spokesman described it as a sign that the Democrats are "defaulting to their totalitarian impulses."

He said: "I think what you're seeing here is the Democrats can't get done through the political process what they want to get done, so they are defaulting to their totalitarian impulses."
