Fresh off her national best-selling book tour, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin just keeps rolling as the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America announces her to be their 2010 International Bowl Expo keynote speaker.
"Sarah Palin is a great friend to the bowling industry and we're so proud and honored to welcome her as our keynote speaker at International Bowl Expo 2010," said Steven Johnson, executive director of the BPAA, in a press release today.
Regardless of your political affiliation, Ms. Palin is a force in American politics and culture. Her presence underscores the impact and importance of bowling, one of our country's leading national pastimes and a growing $10 billion industry.
This will follow Palin's gig as keynote speaker at the National Tea Party Convention in February.

And Joe the Bowler will be there to see her get off her bus which she just got on five minutes before arrival pretending and lying that she has been on it for ages, changing diapers and being a regular mom while she has just gotten off her hired jet.

Bowling industry? I didn't even realize that bowling was an industry. What do you bet she won't even show up. Maybe they would promote a free "Going Rogue" book with every shoe rental.

She'll show up, give a rambling, disjointed "speech" and then bowl six frames.

I forgot to mention that she's already shopping for a $3,299 pair of bowling shoes and a $14,000 silk shirt with "Going Rouge" embroidered on the back. (Preaf rooding and spelt cheeking were never her forté.)

What was Gielgud's line from the movie Arthur?
"Normally one would have to go to a bowling alley to meet someone of your caliber."
Without offense to any bowlers among us.

Did anyone else notice that her (ghostwritten) book is #1 on the NYT Non-fiction(?) bestsellers list, yet it isn't flagged with a sword denoting bulk sales? I thought it curious being as some right-wing rag is running ads on TV selling the book for $4.95 and you get a free trial subscription to the ragazine. Doesn't that pretty much prove it has been pre-ordered and bulk sold?
(I can't remember which rag it was. I can remember that the art of memory is knowing what to forget.)

It's $4.97 from Newsmax; free with a paid one-year subscription. ... "Plus we'll send you another bonus: A copy of Newsmax magazine's special report, Sarah Palin and "The Newer Feminism," revealing how Sarah is changing the politics of womanhood.
This is an additional $5 value — making your total bonus value more than $39!"

The connection is her book smells the same way rented bowling shoes do.

Even the lamestream media report Sarah Palin is one of 2009's Most Influential/Fascinating People. She is the Alaskan Aphrodite, the American Athena, and Queen of the Heartland. Naturally, she is in great demand, and she can write her own ticket.

How ironic that the Bowling association went to the gutter to find a keynote speaker
