Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) is planning to run against Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) for his Senate seat.
Hayworth told the Associated Press that he stepped down as host of a conservative talk radio show in Arizona, clearing the way for a Senate run.
While Hayworth didn't formally announce a run, he told the AP that "we're moving forward to challenge John McCain."
A Rasmussen poll last week showed McCain with a healthy lead against Hayworth in Arizona's GOP primary: 53-31.

I feel for Arizonians...McCain or Hayworth? Talk about your lose, lose situation: Mr. Crankypants or J.D. Supermouth.

At least Arizonans now have a Democratic candidate to consider. Rodney Glassman from Tucson has an explatory committee, and he is very impressive. http://www.rodneyglassman.com/

He probably doesn't have a chance in hell in this state, but he definitely looks to be worth the effort. If nothing else, he's worth keeping and eye on for the future.
McCain is doing everything he can to come off as being the Conservative that he never was before. Shocking to see Palin backing him when Hayworth is more her style, especially when Teabaggers have such a low opinion of him. But, her supporters are so gullible they'll believe whatever crap she decides to spew to remain in their good favor...and wallets.

With powerful endorsement from Gov. Sarah Palin, Geriatric John easily defeats Jeeter Dingus Hayworth.
