Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin repeated for the umpteenth time her thoroughly debunked claim that the health care reform bill includes "death panels."
On Sean Hannity's Fox News radio show yesterday, Palin said she "won't back off" her claim, even though it was dubbed "Lie of the Year" by Politifact.com.
If the health care bill goes the way Obama wants it, we're gonna have something very much like foreign countries' systems of health care like the British, and it's the American people -- if we have our health care paid for by the bureaucracy, by government -- depending on our health condition, depending on our age -- we're gonna be subject to bureaucrats deciding, panels and commissions deciding -- just like they do overseas -- who will be worthy of receiving the health care that government is going to provide. So that is the death panel that I referred to, and I won't back off on criticizing that aspect of the health care bill.
Every time her claim has been debunked, she doubles down on it. After being called out for Politifact's "Lie of the Year," she posted to her Facebook page defending the phrase.
Though Nancy Pelosi and friends have tried to call "death panels" the "lie of the year," this type of rationing - what the CBO calls "reduc[ed] access to care" and "diminish[ed] quality of care" - is precisely what I meant when I used that metaphor.

"Palin Continues To Say 'Death Panels' Are In Health Care Bill"
Palin continues to be a serial liar too, but the media isn't taking that story.

The attitude seems to be that once it's reported that a politician's statement is lie, it's just not news when the lie is repeated.

Yes, she is a serial liar. I am not being judgmental but if she has ever dealt with Medicare, she will KNOW that end of life counseling has been part of Medicare for years and the elderly, me for instance, go right on living without a living governmental employee suggesting that I need to be offed. She is an amazing liar or totally stupid and that does not bode well for our party at all, Our party has been preempted by this sort of hysterical wingnut that just seem to lie with immunity.

It's not at all clear to me that she is lying because frankly, every word that comes out of her mouth is utter gibberish and makes no sense. How am I supposed to know if she's lying when I can't even begin to understand what she's saying?

Sarah Palin attended Mat-Su Community College, North Idaho College, Hawaii Pacific University finally graduating, without distinction, from the University of Idaho with a degree in journalism...not economics, not finance, not international affairs not even political science, but journalism -- without distinction. It took Sarah 6 years to graduate with an undergraduate degree (source: everywhere, but try Wiki).
John McCain graduated 5th "from the bottom" of his Naval Academy class (source: McCain's own mouth on 60 Minutes).
President Barack Obama graduated from Harvard Law School magna cum laude (source: Weekly Standard, Bill Krystol editor).
The only thing radical about President Obama is that apparently he was radical when it came to studying and workig HARD

While I agree with you, in general, we also need to keep an eye on her. Whatever she spews, she spews for her followers, the Tea Party. Granted, she's just rehashing her same old bull, but it's still best to keep her and the rest of them under watch. We may need the ammo later.
It would be nice if she said something interesting or even half-way intelligent. Just to break up the monotony. Good lord, what did I just ask for? This sinus infection is really screwing with my logic.

Gov. Sarah Palin does not make idle threats or baseless comments. She has dedicated her life to public service and the improvement of conditions for her fellow citizens. She walks tall, speaks truth to power, and fights for YOU. If she says the monstrous travesty of "Health Care Reform" contains a death panel stipulation, then believe her.

Sailortroll doesn't believe a word he says about Palin. I state that assuming he has an IQ of over 75. IF he REALLY believes her drivel, I stand corrected and will then "throw-in" with LiesPre.
A low intelligence level allows one to pontificate(sorry, "blow smoke up someones ass") but not be taken seriously.

And George W. Bush was America's greatest President ever. If only he'd gotten that third term.
Oh. And monkeys fly, tea baggers are sane, gravity is a left-wing plot, and - well, you get the idea.
