Republicans don't mind jamming tax cuts for the richest 1% down my throat, or wars, or other massive handouts to their rich buddies... funny how it's only ever services for the working class that get "rammed down our throats".

And doesn't it say a lot about the Republican Party, how quick they are to characterize their opponents as demons and rapists?

Many people THINK they like the Obama bill. Mainly those who haven't read it and BELIEVE EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth.

The fact is, this bill does NOTHING for the middle class and still burdens them with 90% of the bill.

I get a kick out of all these yes-men/women on TPM who simply cheer anything this guy does. Isn't that the problem we had with Bush Jr.? No dissent?

Obama = Give everyone some form of health care.

Bush Jr. = Kiss my ass, I'm starting a war.

You're not making an apples to apples comparison. As far as "all"
these people who "cheer anything this guy does" on TPM, you're projecting what you want to be true, not the reality of the matter.

Give EVERYONE health care? You do realize, even by his own admission, this plan will leave out nearly 20 million Americans?

Yeah, apple to apples. You know Obama signed a continuation of Bush era "Homeland Security" provisions? Bypassing FISA is STILL policy.

STILL backing Israel without provision.

STILL in Iraq and will be for the foreseeable future.

Ramping up in Afghanistan.

The list goes on and on....

Have a significant medical issue in your family and then tell us it does nothing Jorge, and show proof for your 90% nonsense. Son, you really have a lot to learn about American history. Neither Emancipation nor the New Deal were perfect deals out of the gate. In fact Lincoln scotched two attempts at Emancipation by subordinates prior to his Proclamation and did so to put the war effort out front as the more important issue as the deficit is quickly becoming in the present. You are looking at HCR in a void, Obama can not afford that luxury. But I suppoose Hillary would have locked it up by now, which is what you really want to say,... AHEM.

So you suggest we should follow the emancipation and subsequent century long battle for civil rights?

Have we learned nothing from our history?

I KNOW we can do better.

Is it just me, or do all these Republicans' talking about jamming, cramming and and having things forced down their throats sound like they'd actually *enjoy* it? :)
