Palin Advises Tea Partiers: 'Stop' Cars With Obama Bumper Stickers

Less than a week after a Nashville man was driven off the road because his car sported an Obama-Biden bumper sticker, Sarah Palin has called on Tea Partiers to stop drivers whose cars have a similar sticker.
Stumping on Saturday from Searchlight, NV -- Harry Reid's hometown -- Palin focused her rhetoric on the health care overhaul passed last week:
It's like that old bumper sticker that says, "Government: If you think our problems are bad, wait until you see our solutions."
The crowd cheered. She went on:
Or that bumper sticker you see on the next Subaru driving by, an Obama bumper sticker. You should stop the driver and say, "So how is that hopey, changey thing working out for you?"
Her comments come at a politically charged time, just a week after a picture on her Facebook page used crosshairs to identify Democrats who voted for health care reform.

I live in Texas where if you are accosted in your vehicle you have the right to self defense..ie...blowin' their head off. Yes and in Texas it is legal to carry a gun concealed or in your car. Some big truck running me off the road, driven by a man with a small penis would give me plenty of cause to unload my gun into said truck.
The reason Democrats don't do anything about gun control (other than endorse it in a speech ) is that A LOT of Democrats own weapons legally. These Democrats understand that after you take away legal guns truly only criminals will have them. We have like 400 million guns in this country. You know why? Because guns have no expiration date. I just inherited a Rock Island 30.06 rifle used in WWI and WWII. Still fires like it was new. Sorry I got on a tangent.

Why is it gun-nuts are incapable of critically evaluating gun industry-front NRA, et al., propaganda for the irrational politics of fear it is? Is it the too-close proximity to lead?
Who in hell considers it smart to imitate criminals based upon the unevidenced hypothetical that that will somehow either prevent criminals having guns, or result in having a defense against them? Right: gun-nuts.
How many fucking times per day do gun-nuts manage to be confronted by criminals?
Or the sheer nonsense: "Guns don't kill people; people kill people." Typical bullshit halftruth. People who DON'T have guns aren't able to SHOOT ANYONE OR ANYTHING.
The reality is that there are two groups who oppose the closing of the gun show loophole:
1. Self-professed "responsible gunn owners".
2. Criminals.
Instead of dealing with that reality head on we get constant mindless rationalizations which always arrive at the same place: throw thought and reason out the window because everyone else does.

I can't think of many presidents who accomplish that much in eight years (especially on issues as big as healthcare reform). And that's just what I can remember. Do you guys have anything to add?

If any teabagger tries to pull you over I suggest you ask them to sign the pledge to renounce any and all government spending on their behalf. Tell them they can start by giving back their Social Security checks and refusing any Medicare payments for their medical care. Trouble is, they never leave their cars (or pickups). We've had an Obama sticker on our rear bumper since spring 08, and so far have been "greeted" by two mooks in a pickup and an older dude in a Jaguar. It happens pretty fast, so have your snappy comebacks ready in advance.

Monthly, I get to commute between West Los Angeles, all-Obama all-the-time, and Naples Florida, where I am collecting photos of the wide variety of I-Hate-Obama stickers. I always bring a few Obama stickers, for the rent-a-car and for the Dems I meet that can't believe the balls I've got for sporting a Big O on my car.

Why would she bring up Obama being a constitutional law professor if the Tea Party is always on about how everything Obama does is unconstitutional?

But the real question is ... do any of them have the GUTS to stop a car with an Obama sticker on it and harass the person inside? I suspect they're only going to run people off the road into a ditch, fire hydrants, guard rails, retaining walls, parked cars or whatever and keep on driving away.

First off, I have 2 Obama bumper stickers one "Obama" from the primary and the second the Shepard Fairey portrait w "HOPE" on it. What bothers me about this is most likely these creeps won't hassle some big dude that might be toting a gun but most of my travels are with me, a small woman and my children. I think the bully mindset of teabaggers are to pick someone less threatening. I've been flipped off, cut off and verbally abused for my bumper stickers but I would never think of allowing these thugs to effect my right to display my support.
While I support our 1st amendment rights, I also agree that you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater. What Palin and the other miscreants are doing is invoking potential violence against law abiding citizens. This should not be allowed. I believe it's time for the justice system to take a stand on this hate backed incitement toward violence.

Absolutely. I think it was a stupid conservative brainwashing idea that suggested Liberals don't like guns. I've been liberal all my life and I had a 3rd Class B.A.T.F. license for most of that time.I love my guns and I DARE any stupid tea bagger to TRY and stop my vehicle.
