In a teaser for a segment on Fox News today, anchor Megyn Kelly wondered aloud about the new nuclear START treaty President Obama is about to sign with Russia.
"Now critics are asking, will the new deal leave the U.S. defenseless until it's too late? Coming up, next hour," Kelly said.
Fox then cut to footage of a nuclear bomb exploding into a mushroom cloud before going to commercial.

According to Wikipedia, "She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Syracuse University and her J.D. from Albany Law School, where she was editor of the Albany Law Review." Then worked as a lawyer in Chicago and D.C. before joining Faux News.
I'm not defending her from your assertion that she's a "bimbo." In my mind, being smart and educated and saying stupid shit makes it worse. For that matter, Bobby Jindal was a Rhodes Scholar and Eric Cantor has a law degree and also received a masters in science from Columbia.

I think time is too valuable to watch ANY news or opinion shows on television, except maybe Fareed Zacharia's great show, GPS. I like Rachael Maddow, but even her show is mostly a waste of time. More to be learned in ten minutes of reading online, and you can always watch highlight clips.

You really must consider the possibility Megyn knows exactly what she is doing and saying. And so does most of the rest of the Fox crew. I agree completely. I'm not even amused, anymore. This is irresponsible and is only going to give their followers another reason to call for violent actions.
So...what do we do? I've sent emails to FOX. I'm sure it helped. I've tried spreading facts to local followers. They say only FOX tells the truth. They have no idea that they've been brainwashed. They honestly believe we're headed toward Armageddon.
I think FOX needs to be at the receiving end of some lawsuits. If the 'baggers can file baseless suits against our government, why can't liberals file a class-action suit against FOX? Do they not know that we have subs patrolling constantly and these subs have the capability to respond to any nuclear attack even if everyone in the U.S. is dead? Thank God for Fareed Zakaria and GPS. In his last show he cited a report that said we could still maintain our nuclear umbrella with only 311 nukes. 100 of those would be land based ICBMs with the rest being from bombers and subs.
